Brent Parsons
Brent was raised by loving Christian parents and accepted Jesus as his personal Lord and Savior at the age of 9. He surrendered to Christian service while attending Falls Creek in the summer of 1993. Brent began serving as Pastor of Franklin Baptist Church on September 4, 2011. Brent’s love for Christ and His Church is demonstrated by over two decades of service in churches of every size. Having preached and baptized in 16 countries on several continents, he has seen the power and presence of God working mightily in the hearts and lives of a variety of people. In addition to his ministry in the local church, Brent spent a decade serving with international non-profits that support the work of indigenous pastors in 3rd world countries. Along with serving as our pastor, Brent currently serves as the Executive Director of the Oklahoma Baptist Homes for Children, OKC. Prior to Franklin Baptist Church, he served as Pastor of First Baptist Church in Newcastle, OK; Calvary Baptist Church in Sulphur, OK; and Bi-vocational Pastor of Southern Heights Baptist Church in El Reno, OK. He is a graduate of Westmoore High School (1993), Oklahoma Baptist University (1997), and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (Master of Divinity 2002).
