The Parsons Family

Lead Pastor
Brent A. Parsons

Brent was raised by loving Christian parents and accepted Jesus as his personal Lord and Savior at the age of 9.  He surrendered to Christian service while attending Falls Creek in the summer of 1993.  Brent began serving as Pastor of Franklin Baptist Church on September 4, 2011.  Brent’s love for Christ and His Church is demonstrated by over two decades of service in churches of every size.  Having preached and baptized in 16 countries on several continents, he has seen the power and presence of God working mightily in the hearts and lives of a variety of people. In addition to his ministry in the local church, Brent spent a decade serving with international non-profits that support the work of indigenous pastors in 3rd world countries.  Along with serving as our pastor, Brent currently serves as the Executive Director of the Oklahoma Baptist Homes for Children, OKC.  Prior to Franklin Baptist Church, he served as Pastor of First Baptist Church in Newcastle, OK; Calvary Baptist Church in Sulphur, OK; and Bi-vocational Pastor of Southern Heights Baptist Church in El Reno, OK.  He is a graduate of Westmoore High School (1993), Oklahoma Baptist University (1997), and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (Master of Divinity 2002).
 
Brent and his wife Keely, have three children: Hunter, Hattie, and Maebree

The McCloy Family

Associate Pastor
Youth & Worship Ministries
​John McCloy

John was called to Franklin Baptist Church as the Associate Pastor of Youth in September 2014 and then later in 2016, accepted the call to become the Associate Pastor of Youth & Music.  He surrendered to full-time Christian service in 2014. In addition to his ministry at Franklin, he serves as a Stewardship Advisor for the North American Mission Board and Send Relief, focused on compassion initiatives in North America and around the world. He completed his Bachelors in Business Administration in Management from Oklahoma Baptist University in 2018.

John and his wife, Noel, have two children: Cash and Everly.

Zeke Leyba

Zeke & Zandra Leyba

Zeke has a deep love for the local church and for seeing families grow in their faith. He served as Youth Pastor at Moyers Baptist Church beginning in 2020, where he ministered faithfully until 2024. In addition to his local church ministry, Zeke has led and participated in eight international mission trips to Nicaragua and Mexico, sharing the gospel and serving communities in tangible ways.
Zeke holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Oklahoma State University and currently works as a Product Analyst, leading data integration projects. He brings both a heart for ministry and a strong background in leadership and problem-solving to his role.
Zeke and his wife Zandra have three young children: Elexia “Ellie”, and twins Emilee “Emmie” and Elijah “Eli”.

Kassidy Ray

Kassidy grew up attending Trinity Baptist Church in Yukon, Oklahoma, where she accepted Christ and was baptized at the age of seven. At 13, her family moved to Chickasha, where she later graduated from high school. In April 2019, she married her husband, Tyler, and together they made their home in Norman.
God has blessed Kassidy and Tyler with three children: Maddie, Zane, and Dakota. For five years she worked as a hairdresser before sensing the Lord’s call to a new direction. Together, she and Tyler opened their home to foster children, walking alongside families and celebrating multiple reunifications.
Through each season, Kassidy has witnessed God’s faithfulness and purpose at work in her life. She is grateful for the opportunity to serve the Lord, her family, and her community.
